Admin Assistant

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants seeking a pro-active and motivated person to join our team as an Admin Assistant.
The post holder must be competent in Microsoft Office products, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel. We are looking for someone educated to A-Level or equivalent standard. Previous admin experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for a confident and helpful all round team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent telephone manner.
The role is based in the Reception area and incorporates a variety of administration tasks such as (but not limited to):
- Act as one of the first points of contact for the company, to both clients and suppliers, via the telephone and in person.
- Filing & searching for documents in the Document Management System.
- Organise networking events using Eventbrite.
- Preparing rooms for seminars, webinars and meetings including the organisation of refreshments.
- Setting up new clients on our accountancy data base.
- Processing of client’s payments.
- Assisting with Credit Control, when required.
- Providing support to the Account Managers and Senior Management.
- Providing support to the Office Manager
- Processing outgoing post.
The position is full time with hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm. Salary will be dependent on experience.
