If so, Becky at JT Recruit is currently seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join the team at a Local Authority based in Kettering on a short-term contract which could be extended.

As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of effective housing services in the region. To develop and deliver a high standard of housing management to specific neighbourhoods to ensure that services are provided in accordance with performance targets and service standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting periodic tenancy reviews in tenanted properties, performing estate and block inspections, conducting home visits, and coordinating viewings.

Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently will be crucial in maintaining high standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct periodic tenancy reviews in tenanted properties.

Perform estate and block inspections.

Conduct home visits to assess housing conditions and address tenant concerns.

Coordinate property viewings and provide relevant information to potential tenants.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience in housing management or related field.

Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
