We’re looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our Rowan Village and Lime Tree Court team in Meir on a part-time permanent basis, to deliver a varied and innovative activities programme for residents and the wider community too. You’ll need to promote independent living, improve physical and mental health as well as meeting their needs and interests too.

**Job requirements**
- Work with residents, colleagues and partners to provide a range of activities, events and outings.
- Organise and publicise events encouraging involvement and access.
- Identify and introduce new activities to attract the wider community into the village.
- Promote and coordinate inter-scheme activity with other Staffs Housing villages and surrounding communities.
- Develop local links with the community, partner agencies and the voluntary sector and encourage them to come into the village.
- Contribute to the village team and help set an atmosphere that promotes and celebrates the values and commitments of the Group.

**What we’re looking for**
- A good general level of education including English and Maths
- A good understanding of IT including word, excel and publisher.
- Experience of working in an environment that supports older and vulnerable people.
- An understanding of the challenges facing older people trying to live independently.
- Great communication and influencing skills.
- Someone who can deliver the service in a creative way.
- Someone with a positive, friendly, approachable and can-do attitude.
