**What is the role?**

You will oversee and lead our Operations Team to deliver great experiences to all staff, players and visitors to our site, ensuring that all Operational Teams have management and reporting processes and budgets in place aligned to annual forecasts/OKRs.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a lead Operational role at a stadium, arena or other complex organisation and has expertise in leading delivery of large events.

**What will you be doing?**

Leading the Operations Team who are responsible for running our stadium, training ground and other sites and working with the team to develop effective budgeting, cost control and efficiency programmes.

You will be creative and enjoy a new challenge in order to generate ideas to improve services, help deliver repeat business and build new revenue streams.

**Is this you?**

We are looking for an excellent networker and collaborative team builder who isn’t afraid of a challenge and is passionate about customer service. You understand the importance of safety in relation to large events and have a detailed data/evidence driven approach.

Other essential experience and skills include:

- Worked in a lead operational role at a similar site and/or expertise in leading delivery of large events.
- Experience of managing a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and budgeting/financial planning.
- Experience of leading and developing of large teams.
- Positive and proactive approach - focused on finding solutions to problems and overcoming challenges.
- A strong communicator who is able to work with board level colleagues.
- Resilient and willing to challenge, able to manage competing stakeholders.

Although not essential, any appropriate qualifications in business operations, safety/security, customers services, quality management or business resilience would be advantageous.
