Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Operations Shift Manager will be responsible for leading, organising and developing a team of Operators and Key Operators, across a 3 shift operation - mornings / afters / nights.
Duties of the Operations Shift Manager will include:

- Analysing KPI and OEE data to identify productivity issues and helping to form solutions and maximise opportunities for improvement
- Identifying and analysing problems and introduce sustainable solutions
- Working with a multi-disciplined team and evaluating the performance of your team, providing effective feedback and training where required
- Promoting & developing a safety culture through auditing, reviewing SOP's and investigating incidents when needed
- Facilitating continuous improvement workshops and driving forward a positive mindset to change
We are keen to speak with Shift Managers and Production Managers who possess the following:

- Experience of working with modern manufacturing techniques, along with proven experience of driving forward improvements
- Previous people management with a motivational and engaging management style
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge and experience of quality, cost, delivery, people and safety
- A proven track record of influencing positive and encouraging team behaviour
