Goodman Masson are really excited to be partnered with Social Investment Business on their search for a new Head of Governance, Audit, Compliance & Risk.

**Who would you be working for?**

Social Investment Business are a social investor; managing one of the UK's largest social investment portfolios. They provide grants and relief loans to social entrepreneurs who aim to support and help develop local communities. Continuing to grow theirimpact, Social Investment Business are providing millions of pounds of funding across the country every year.

**What is the role?**

Reporting to and working alongside the Director of Finance, you would be fully home-based, with the requirement to travel to London approximately 8 times per year. Main responsibilities:

- Leading & managing all external Compliance Audits; supporting internal departments, executing risk-based audit plans & formally reporting on audits & external assessments
- Owning, reviewing & updating the Policy Framework; managing the procurement process
- Supporting the Board to review the Risk Management process
- Co-ordination of Governance activities; helping the Governance team to provide support to relevant Board & Committees
- Line management of one direct report

This role is offering a salary of circa £60,000

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Experience managing Governance, Internal Audit, Compliance & Risk functions; charity or social sector experience desirable
- Proven experience working at Committee & Board level
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015; confident managing internal & external audit processes
- Excellent relationship management & communication skills, both with internal & external stakeholders
