**Location - Whitby**

Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with an independent café set in the heart of the North York Moors who are looking to recruit a cook/chef to be part of their strong team that is led by the Café Manager.

**Role**:

- Working as part of the team to prepare and serve the café menu
- Complying with all food safety regulations
- Assist in the management of the food stock in the café
- Engaging with customers
- Full clean down of the kitchen after service
- Undertaking other duties in the café as and when required
- Customer focused

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH
- Happy to work as part of a team and on your own
- Experience with fresh food and baking would be preferred
- Access to your own transport is essentials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
