PR and Content Lead

**About this role**

We’re looking for an ambitious and organised individual to take on the role of PR and Content Lead.

This role is key to making things happen - from getting campaigns and stories live, creating engaging content for earned and owned media, managing regular touchpoints between internal teams and agencies, as well as owning a wide range of exciting projects.

You will need to craft inspiring briefs for our creative partners to develop compelling communications, rooted in content marketing and Digital PR, delivered through the right mix of earned, owned and paid channels.

You will need to be able to manage the campaign development process with our agencies as well as working effectively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as our Product, Creative, Legal and External Affairs teams.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we’re looking for a creative yet analytically-minded associate who is passionate about brand marketing and with a working knowledge of digital PR, is ready to hit the ground running and help us to grow the Capital One brand in the UK.

**What You’ll Do**
- Work with the Marketing Manager in the creation and delivery of integrated, multi-channel owned & earned marketing campaigns, from initial briefing to final sign off, including: Digital PR, Organic and paid social media, influencer marketing and content marketing.
- Create clear, concise and inspiring briefs for marketing activity and collateral - both online and offline
- Oversee the production of campaign materials, including writing, editing and proofing copy, ensuring communications remain on brand at all times
- Reporting KPIs including campaign measurement and brand metrics
- You’ll brief internal and external creative teams, seeking their expertise on insights like competitor activity or on creative for marketing activity
- Form great connections between Brand and wider teams in the business to generate a regular drumbeat of content
- Own projects end-to-end, both long-term and short-term

**What we’re looking for**
- Ability to be both creative and analytical - so you’re able to craft creative marketing campaigns that are grounded in insight and navigate data to articulate their effectiveness
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal - you’ll be able to craft on-message stories and present them to internal and external stakeholders in an engaging way
- Experience managing a busy workload and great organisational skills
- Experience of working with creative agencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills and be able to quickly develop strong working relationships with other teams across the business
- Resilience in your approach, able to overcome setbacks and have a solution focused mindset
- Tenacity to grow and develop quickly in role, taking on bigger responsibilities as they arise
- Demonstrable experience in PR, ideally digital PR focused, This would be ideally in house but agency experience will also be considered.
- A working knowledge of how PR most effectively integrates and influences SEO
- Preferred but not essential - experience of working in financial services or another regulated sector
- Preferred but not essential - CIPR/CIM qualified

**Where and how you'll work**

This is a permanent position and can be based in either our Nottingham or London_ _offices.

Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.

We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
