**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shop, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Oversee food production and preparation, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Train and develop staff in culinary techniques, hospitality, and customer service.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth.
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in cooking techniques, bartending, food production, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food Safety Level 3
- Allergen Management
- Barista skills
- Opening & Closing of Coffee Shop
- End of day & week financial reporting
- **Coffee Shop will be open from 7.30am
- 3.30pm - Monday - Friday **_

The coffee shop will close on Bank Holidays, 2 weeks in August & 3 weeks for Christmas.however additional hours may be available in the Events side of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (required)
- Barista: 2 years (required)
- Catering supervisor: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 Food Safety (required)
- Allergen Management (required)

- United Kingdom (required)
