**Mobile Catering Supervisor Citywide - Catholic Schools Only**

**Fixed Term Contract until 31 **st **March 2025**

**Term Time plus 6 non term time days - Working 30.00 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 2pm**

City serve is a Birmingham City Council catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchens across the UK, healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all of our menus, and we are committed to the wellbeing of pupils. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, delivers excellent customer service and is able motivate and support team members.

This is a mobile position & the applicant will be required to move at short notice to different locations within the City to provide effective absence cover for other Catering Supervisors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the catering arrangements at the school you have been allocated. The applicant will be required to establish and develop an excellent relationship with the Client.

Duties will include preparing and cooking meals for pupils; planning and controlling all aspects of the service including costing, Allergens, stocktaking, staff training, use of laptop and electronic book keeping and keeping appropriate records. Experience of cooking for large numbers is essential, along with some supervisory experience.

The applicant as a minimum must already hold a Food Safety Level 2 Qualification and you will be required to undertake all training relevant for the role.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
