**About Our Client**:
Our client is a reputable enterprise within the industrial/manufacturing sector. With a workforce exceeding 1,000 members, they have a significant presence in Blackburn. They are renowned for their high-quality products and commitment to employee satisfaction, making them an employer of choice in the region.
- Keeping the cash book up to date and performing daily reconciliations.
- Downloading all the sales ledger receipts from the bank.
- Posting all Sales ledger receipts.
- Reconciliation of depot till transactions and raising any queries.
- Assisting with the bank reconciliations.
- Liaising with depot managers and credit controllers to ensure correct posting of sales receipts.
- Assisting depot managers with locating missing payments and transferring payments between customer accounts.
- Processing bounced cheques on date of receipt.
- Analysing and improving business processes in the cashier department.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by your Line Manager.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Cashier should have:

- A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Good literacy and numeracy are both essential
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Must have good computer skills
- Self-motivation and have a drive to succeed and do well is essential in this role
- Excellent customer service skills
- A keen eye for detail
- A high level of integrity and trustworthiness
