About the Role:

Time Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Legal Cashier to join our well respected clients Finance Team. This full-time role is based in Blackburn and involves a variety of responsibilities critical to the financial operations of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily banking functions, including electronic bank transfers (CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments).
Conduct bank reconciliations for both client and business accounts.
Reconcile client ledgers and manage petty cash administration.
Process client and office accounting transactions and handle client-to-office transfers.
Ensure compliance with SRA rules, including managing the Month-End SRA Compliance Folder.
Address internal and external account queries efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience as a Legal Cashier.
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to work effectively within a team.

Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of accounting processes.
Familiarity with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Experience with case management systems, preferably Partner for Windows.
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
