Senior Quality Inspector

The Senior Quality Inspector holds the primary responsibility for overseeing the QC Inspection Department, necessitating close collaboration with the Operations Department to ensure timely inspection of parts and products to meet customer delivery requirements while upholding specified quality standards.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Quality Inspector include:
- Leading the QC inspection team including staff management duties
- Assigning tasks according to business needs, ensuring daily and weekly targets are achieved.
- Working with surface plate equipment, CMM, comparators, fixed gauges, thread gauges, etc., to conduct precise and accurate measurements.
- Conducting final inspections of machined parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies in adherence to company drawings and procedures.
- Collaborating with Product Engineering to ensure accurate inspection times are allocated to new jobs and providing feedback on existing jobs.
- Organizing the control and management of inspection and measuring equipment and facilities.
- Representing QC at daily Business Planning meetings.
To be successful in this role you will have previous people management experience, great communication skills and a strong background in quality inspection.
