Conformity Inspector

Overview:
Inspector required to assist at a supplier in Poole, Dorset. With possible visits to Bracknell, Berkshire.

One touchpoint per week and in person inspection when the wing is going to be closed.

**Background**:
Their quality has been pretty good so far, they are ISO9001 certified with a good quality system in place. The build team has some concerns on FOD and they are requesting to carry over an inspection before the wing is closed to be sure is up to standard as once is closed it is impossible to carry over. We would need a full report and a follow up investigation for every nonconformity found.

We are also looking at giving them more work and there is a fairly significant change since they made the wing for aircraft 1 in that they are now responsible for the sub tier supply chain. Predominantly a machine shop based in Bracknell.

**Overview of the activity required**:
A full inspection of the wing before closure and a supervision for FOD is required as minimum. Alongside source inspection of all the components listed above and potentially more.

We would like a capacity assessment carried out and someone to monitor and support delivery assurance. Ensure Customer have provided all the tools, material and data to enable them and ensure that Supplier can deliver in the defined time frame and to the defined requirements.

We would also like the subtier Supplier monitored to ensure they are delivery on time and on quality.

**Overview of any particular skills, experience and qualifications required**:
Inspector for the wing (ideally with composite and aerospace background to spot anomalies).

Mechanical inspector for the FOD.
