Our client is an Accountancy firm who place customer service as a priority. They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team on a Maternity Cover Contract for up to 12 months.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for their portfolio of clients who include property developers, media and creative businesses, digital and tech firms. This is a crucial role in ensuring that their employees are paid correctly and on time.

**Duties**:

- Process, manage and submit weekly payroll for one large client (12 employees) and up to 140 smaller clients (owner managed)
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes
- Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other payroll-related documents
- Generate payroll reports as needed for management or auditing purposes
- Set up workplace pension schemes and enrolment of employees
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance

**Experience**
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software for payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
