**About the role**

As a Housing Caseworkers you will carry a caseload of clients and administer our statutory duties in relation to these cases. This role will focus on delivering this service with a trauma informed, holistic approach to people that are vulnerably housed or street homeless and will include liaison with multiple agencies including but not prohibited to Probation, Mental Health and Drug Services. This is a fixed term 12 month contract.

**About the team**

Exeter City Council’s Housing Needs department provides a range of housing and homelessness related services principally in housing advice and assistance, homelessness prevention and relief, temporary accommodation, access to private rented housing, signposting and referral to supported accommodation and treatment services and managing access to Exeter’s social housing register. The Rough Sleeping Prevention Team is a new service delivered by Julian House and BCHA to end rough sleeping in Exeter, they work collaboratively in supporting people that are street attached and rough sleeping to seek solutions to their housing issues.

**Salary**: £30,151.00-£34,723.00 per year
