**About you**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused individual who can work under their own initiative and as part of a team.

Knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act is preferred, although full training will be provided.

**About the role**

Housing Caseworkers are responsible for holding a caseload of clients who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and assessing and delivering the council’s statutory duties towards those households.

**About the team**

Exeter City Council’s Housing Needs department provides a range of housing and homelessness related services principally in housing advice and assistance, homelessness prevention and relief, temporary accommodation, access to private rented housing, signposting and referral to supported accommodation and treatment services and managing access to Exeter’s social housing register.

**Salary**: £30,151.00-£34,723.00 per year
