Exciting Opportunity for a Learning Mentor/Behavioural Instructor in Basildon

Join our dedicated team as a Learning Mentor/Behavioural Instructor in Basildon and make a difference in the lives of our students. As a Learning Mentor/Behavioural Instructor, you will play a key role in providing guidance, support, and interventions to students with diverse behavioral needs, fostering a positive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges, implementing targeted interventions and strategies to promote positive behavior and social-emotional growth.
- Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions to address specific behavioral needs, helping students develop coping mechanisms and enhance their self-regulation skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement behavior management plans tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Monitor student progress, track behavioral data, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and teachers.
- Lead group sessions and workshops focused on social skills development, conflict resolution, and emotional well-being.
- Act as a mentor and positive role model for students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and external agencies to ensure a holistic and collaborative approach to student support.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Learning Mentor, Behavioral Instructor, or similar role in an educational setting.
- Solid understanding of behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students and create a supportive environment.
- Knowledge of child development, learning difficulties, and mental health challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop comprehensive behavior support plans.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
