As a Credit Controller at Bustec, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our business. You will be responsible for managing the company's credit control procedures, overseeing the timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement effective credit control procedures and policies to minimise bad debt and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing clients, assessing creditworthiness, and establishing appropriate credit limits.
- Issue invoices, statements, and reminders promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Resolve any payment disputes or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities, including payment plans, communication history, and any relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide accurate and up-to-date reports on outstanding debts, aged debt analysis, and credit risk assessments.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance credit control procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

**Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
