Packaging Coordinator

Do you have an analytical mindset with strong Excel skills? Would you be interested in taking your Operations skills to the next level within a growing global business? We are currently recruiting for a **Packaging Technician** which will be based at out Coleshill site.

**About the Role**:
**How you will contribute**
- Provide leadership support to packaging and continuous improvement initiatives at the individual work cell level including packaging studies to analyze effectiveness of the packaging system, development of packaging standards and improvements to existing packaging.
- Study engineering drawings, physical characteristics of the product, customer preferences and material in order to design, develop, and improve cost effective packaging.
- Monitor packaging materials and coordinate with vendors on daily releases and inventories.
- Provide weekly Packaging Inventory updates and recommendations based on usage.
- Review and update the Packaging Instructions/methods in AOS and SAP.
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Key Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in packaging engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in designing packaging using wood and cardboard. Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products including in depth knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge in SAP a plus.
- Experience working with a variety of lean tools and concepts.
- Working knowledge of rust protection technology
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
