As part of the Medical Workforce team the focus of this role is supporting the team and Medical & Dental trainees across Wales.

Ensuring that NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is fully engaged and represented at every suitable opportunity to engage with trainees.

Liaise with Health Boards / Practices / Health Education Improvement in Wales (HEIW) to ensure a smooth process is undertaken from onboarding to Completion of Training.

Provide core HR advice to Medical & Dental trainees and local Managers within the Host Organisation, as well as supporting the Medical Workforce team.

The role will have a focus on assisting overseas trainees with their transition to Wales; providing advice and using resources available to assist with a variety of issues such as accommodation and opening bank accounts in the UK.

There will also be a focus on Health & Wellbeing, monitoring absence levels, holding meetings when and where required, and sourcing & sharing resources available.
An exciting opportunity for a Medical Workforce Customer Liaison Officer has become available within the Single Lead Employer Department at NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership (NWSSP).
The role will involve working closely with the SLE team for all medical and dental staff within the Single Lead Employer Project.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly gain and maintain credibility and rapport with managers and staff across the organisation. You will also need well-developed interpersonal skills and have the ability to deliver under the pressure of organisational and departmental priorities.
