Internal Recruiter

MPAAS have grown significantly over the past 18 months, the role of the Internal Recruiter is to help carry on that growth by making sure our contractual obligations to our clients are met.
You will be required to recruit across the full business including Smart Meter Engineers, EV
Engineers, Field Based Operatives, Customer Service Advisors plus any other roles that arise across the business.
**Who are MPAAS?**
MPAAS are an accredited Meter Operator and Meter Asset Manager which means that not only do we own the smart meter asset, but we can fit the smart meter on behalf of your energy supplier. This makes us the face of the energy supplier; the ones who visit your home or business and our qualified Dual Fuel Meter Installers undertake the installation.
In addition to this we also undertake revenue protection work for our energy suppliers.
That’s why we pride ourselves in delivering first class customer service to all of our consumers. From the point of booking through to installation our personalised consumer journey keeps everyone informed every step of the way.
**Your overarching key responsibilities**
- Keep up to date with latest market trends.
- Creation of reports around all recruitment and onboarding activity for use within senior management meetings.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and alongside the Head of Talent Acquisition, create effective recruitment strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Working closely with Training and Hiring Managers to make sure the onboarding of new starters is as smooth as possible.
- Ensure that applicant records and statistics are properly maintained on our internal systems.
- Work closely with Onboarding and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate training and orientation for new hires to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
- Lead out on creating and improving processes within the department.
- Create social media posts to be placed on various social media platforms.
- Help to create & run assessment days for trainees.
**Where you will fit in the Company**
You will be working in the Talent Acquisition department and will work closely alongside the Head of Talent Acquisition and a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator.
**What we are ideally looking for in you**
- Experience working as a recruiter (Agency or in-house).
- Any experience of the Smart Metering industry would be ideal - Alternatively, experience of recruiting field based operatives would be beneficial but not essential.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Ability to adapt to change - We are an ever evolving business so there will be times where you will need to think on your feet.
- Travel - Although not often, at times there maybe a need to travel to conduct assessment days.
**Salary & Benefits**
- Basic Salary: £23,000 - £26,500
- Bonus: Company performance related bonus of up to 10%
- 23 days annual leave + bank holidays (Rising to 25 with service)
