Construction Supervisor

Concept Projects Group are looking to recruit a proactive and motivated Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic project team, with a background in commercial and/or domestic constructions.
As a Construction Supervisor, you will participate and facilitate multiple projects, ensuring these are delivered in line with our company vision and strategy. To include the management of deliverables and milestones, coordination of new projects, lifecycle management, and regular reporting mechanisms.

As a Construction Supervisor, you will play a critical role from preconstruction stage in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects, contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Project Planning: Collaborate to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Management: Coordinate with a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, to execute projects effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process, adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholder, providing project updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Schedule Management: Manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met, and projects are completed on time.
- Procurement: Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with regulations and building codes.
- Reporting to the Senior Project Management/Managing Director
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Degree level education in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery in construction projects
- Strong understanding and proven working knowledge of building materials and reasons for selection
- Strong understanding and proven working knowledge of building regulations
- Strong understanding and proven working knowledge of steps in construction design
- Experience of leading and executing building schemes above £100k value and up to £500k
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to produce successful results
- Experience in client facing, blue chip environments is advantageous
- Experience in working in a manufacturing site environment is advantageous
- Experience in working in a hygienic environment is advantageous
- Experience in working in a high hazard environment is advantageous
- Strong individual who can work alone and with other team members
- An excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
- Proactive, results-driven with a collaborative, supportive attitude
- Strong Microsoft office and IT skills
- Flexibility to work around mainland UK in line with client requirements
- Experience in leading or supporting CDM projects for commercial and domestic clients
- IOSH / NEBOSH qualification or equivalent (preferable)
- Familiar with APM or Prince 2 methodology (preferable)

- Remuneration package: £38,000-£45,000 per year (dependent on experience)
