Welding Inspector

**Job Purpose**:
Ensure that all finished welding and fabrication complies with the contract specifications and relevant quality standards.

The successful jobholder will be responsible for:

- Visually inspecting all welds for compliance to standard
- Carry out weld audits to determine the degree of compliance with the approved Weld Procedures.
- Organisation and facilitation of NDT to appropriate qualified and authorised subcontractors
- Daily liaison with Supervisors and project personnel.
- Carry out surveillance activities in accordance with the Project Inspection & Test Plan.
- Support the requirement for overtime or weekend working as necessary.

Qualifications/Experience:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Appropriate professional qualifications (CSWIP or PCN Level III)
- High level communication skills (written and oral) and computer literacy.
