A **Technical Engineer** is required for my West London based client; this role will specialise in the installation, service, repair and calibration of MFDs (multi-functional devices).
Salary **28K-35K**
This equipment includes but, is not limited to studio level printers, colour managed workflow solutions and a mixture of mechanical/electrical engineering.
Day-to-Day
- Aid within aspects of the service division
- Routine maintenance, calibration of products - to ensure optimum performance/ and preventative management.
- To attend/respond to client requests promptly - troubleshooting and fault finding
- Providing remote assistance - diagnosing issues and rectifying faults by phone and remote apps.
- Integrating and installing hardware and software into client networks.
- Recovery and back-ups - ensuring configurations/data are backed-up.
- Colour management - ensuring equipment is producing colour accurately.
- Creating client relationships - social and professional level, growing a business relationship.
Key Skills
- An engineer who is capable of adapting, and evolving. A keen learner, who is presentable in a business environment.
- An excellent communicator, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Xerox and Canon equipment.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical diagnostics and repair. (Colour management and colour printing)
- Ability to handle clients and ensuring they feel looked after is paramount.
