We are looking for a new member of our Compliance Team at Harrogate

You need to be Motivated, Organised and have a structured approach and be capable of creative thinking using new techniques to maintain and improve efficiency to ensure legal and technical compliance to our public buildings

As a Contracts Supervisor, you will be joining a proactive team dedicated to delivering an effective and efficient programme of planned preventative maintenance and the related compliance contracts in the Councils operational buildings.

You will need to be able to manage your own time to meet deadlines in a fast paced team, meet with clients and contractors and run reports and report to the department manager

Work can be arranged to suit our flexible working scheme and Hybrid working arrangements which allow you to work remotely to fit around your schedules.

You will be responsible for contract management of all suppliers connected with your contracted services, tasks will include:

- Raising works orders
- Co-ordinating access to sites
- Carrying out post audit checks
- Processing payment
- Conduct regular client meetings
- Verify and save all compliant documentation
- Monitor budgets
- Maintain healthy relationships

Are you ready to take on a challenging and varied role in the property compliance team?

Duties will include
- Liaison with site managers, operational staff and contractors to deliver an effective and efficient compliance regime/ppm programme throughout the whole estate, across a wide variety of disciplines
- Ensure all work is carried out to schedule and with mínimal disruption to the operational service.
- Ensure work is carried out safely, to the required specification and complies with all current service standards, codes of practice and legislation
- Ensure contractual arrangements are met between both parties
- Assist in delivering best value and continuous improvement
- Provide support to the Facilities Manager
- Take control and monitor budgets and attend budget meetings with the Facilities Manager
- DBS checks are not required as standard but may be required depending on site preferences. This position is office based, however site visits are necessary for audit purposes so the applicant would need to be fit and able to access plant and equipment in sometimes difficult places
