Forensic Psychological Services Ltd (FPS Ltd) provides a national Expert Witness service, preparing both Psychological and Psychiatric Assessments for legal purposes within the Criminal Justice System.

As an independent expert witness service, we act on behalf of solicitors, local authorities, government bodies and individuals, providing psychologists and psychiatrists who specialise in Criminal Law, Prison Law, Family Law and Immigration Law.

The SSC’s function encompasses a range of tasks, aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the company operations. This includes providing high-level administrative support to the service, our psychologists/psychiatrists, and key stakeholders. These tasks are completed on a largely autonomous basis, with the SSC expected to be capable of self-direction, independent motivation, and multi-tasking, whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The SSC will be supported by the Service Support Manager (SSM).

After initial in-house training, the role will be mainly home based/remote working, with flexibility to attend occasional meetings with the SSM. This will be located in Sheffield

**Responsibilities of the Business/Service Support Coordinator**

Case Management:
Monitoring case allocations to meet the needs of the company.

Ensuring all relevant documentation required to facilitate client interviews is collated in a timely manner.

Ensuring interviewing dates/times are booked with sites as required.

Raising / closing cases on the internal systems and monitoring compliance with stake holder processes and strict company deadlines.

Managing and auditing internal case management spreadsheets and tracking for accuracy and compliance.

Receiving reports and filing / submitting to our key stake holders within strict deadlines

General departmental administration to support our psychologists/psychiatrists.

Ensuring accurate data availability for reports and performance monitoring.

**Key Skills for Business/Service Support Coordinator**

Previous experience working in a fast paced administrative/support environment and adhering to strict deadlines.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Multi-tasking and ability to problem solve and deal with conflicting priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism is essential, as well as the ability to present information clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing).
