**Position** - Welder

**Location** - Newton Aycliffe

**Hourly Rate** - Up to £14.32 DOE

**Shifts** - Day shift

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform precise TIG welding on aluminium materials to ensure strong, clean, and visually appealing welds.
- Set up welding equipment, select appropriate filler materials, and adjust welding parameters for various aluminium materials.
- Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of welds to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate welding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations for a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and share suggestions to enhance welding techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, project progress, and materials used.

**Skills & Experience**:

- TIG Welding experience (Desirable)
- Time served or equivalent
- Fabrication experience
- Working with aluminium
