**Children's Nurse / Clinical Lead** - £42,000 per year (£21,000 part time)
**Lotus Home Care **now has a unique career opportunity for a Children's and Adults Clinical Lead based in the Wakefield and Doncaster regions.
**Salary**: £21,000 per annum 20 hours a week or £42,000 40 hours a week
**Contract: Part time** 20 hours a week or full time 40 hours a week. Permanent contract.
**The role**
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen due to expansion at Lotus home care. We are currently seeking a complex care nurse to provide specialist nurse-led support for adults, children and their families in their own home. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate nurse to join our growing organisation.
You will be a key part in the daily running of our complex service.
Working closely with the Registered manage, ensuring that everything runs effectively and efficiently and that the care provided is of the highest quality
The role will involve working with our clients in their own home with high dependency complex needs such as those resulting from brain and spinal injuries.
You will be responsible for planning of care package and assessments working in partnership with social services, occupational therapist, working closely with the client and their families to ensure the provision of excellent quality care that is person centred and tailored to each clients
- Work within the company’s Health and Safety Policy and ensure that safe working practices are established,
- Adhere to and actively promote the company’s Equality Equal Opportunities, Diversity Policy and Procedures.
- To review process and policies when required.
- Work within and assist in maintaining the quality management system for the organisation and to adhere to CQC standards and regulations.
**Requirements**:
- RGN Qualified with an active NMC pin.
- Complex care experience with children.
- CCG experience and have knowledge and the ability to network for new business.
- Experience of working in complex care or critical care.
- Previous experience working in the community within complex care.
- Passionate, caring, committed and a team player.
- Trained in tracheostomy, PEG feed and Ventilation (CPAP and BIPAP) is ESSENTIAL.
- Driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
- Able to work at our various regions around Doncaster and Wakefield.
