Our client in the healthcare sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR Director to join their growing team for a hybrid role. This an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that has recently gone through a transition. Reporting into the CEO, thisrole is accountable for 3 direct reports.
**Role Responsibilities**
- You will be our expert and role model in establishing, leading and sustaining a positive and inclusive culture based on our values and help us build a workplace culture that engenders trust and kindness.
- Design, develop and implement a Workforce Strategy for continuous learning, development and improvement to promote high performing teams and excellence in practice.
- Through strategy implementation and delivery, you will be responsible for driving and actively promoting the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda across the organisation.
- You will provide professional leadership, direction and development to the HR & OD Team.
- Ensure best practice is applied to all HR processes across the Employee Life Cycle i.e., from Recruitment to Leaver and ensure all HR systems and policies are in place to fully comply with employment law and governance requirements.
- Investigate and advise on very complex employment and organisational development issues.
- Ensure the production, review and maintenance of a comprehensive suite of compliant HR & OD policies
- Lead on the design and delivery of continuous improvement
- Working with the Executive Leadership Team develop a workforce plan that ensures staff are fit for purpose now, and in the future, and able to work across settings and traditional professional demarcations, with flexible skills.
- Develop key workforce metrics and value-adding reports
- _Promote a healthy workplace and develop a comprehensive workforce well-being strategy and workplace wellbeing_ support services to help our staff stay happy and _healthy. _
**Person Specification**
- Has a proven track record of leading and delivering successful human resource management and people development and be able to evidence how your skill set and actions have added value at Board level.
- Significant experience of leading HR&OD strategies to deliver change and transformation to improve capacity, capability and efficiencies.
- Ability to lead work proactively with fully delegated authority to use principles and seasoned judgement to deal with complex issues without referral.
- Strategic and critical thinker, skilled in analysis and synthesis of information.
- Highly organised with a high level of attention to detail, to ensure an accurate efficient service is delivered at all times.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to influence, negotiate and establish credibility both internally and externally
- High level of initiative
- Flexible and adaptable in your work
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an organisation that provides a service that truly benefits the individuals. In return, you will receive a salary of between £65,000-£80,000 (depending on experience) plus excellent holidays and pension.
