PART-TIME ECOMMERCE TRAINEE HANDBAG PHOTOGRAPHER

Sign of the Times are a leading luxury resale platform based in London’s Chelsea, with over 45 years’ experience buying and selling pre-owned luxury goods. We are looking for self-starters who are passionate about the sustainable nature of second-hand fashion and want to build their career at a fast-paced start-up.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Working in the Ecommerce team, you will be responsible for photographing luxury bags, shoes and accessories from our studio. You will be working onsite in our studio 2 days per week on Thursdays and Saturdays. There will be an opportunity to do overtime during the week when our Ecommerce Photographer is on holiday, or we have an increased amount of products to shoot. This is the ideal role for Photography student or Photography enthusiast looking to gain experience in a studio environment.

**The Role**:

- **Product photography**:You will take website photos and videos of bags, shoes and accessories to a professional standard in our studio. Any marks or damage needs to be highlighted. The photographs need to be of exceptional high quality with an understanding of camera settings and good lighting. You will be responsible to reshoot anything that is not up to scratch. You will be responsible to select and manage your images, sending them off to retouch and uploading front pictures into our systems. You will need to work fast, taking as many photos as you can in the day, working to a target. You will treat the products with exceptional care, being mindful not to cause any damage.
- **Model photography**: You will photograph all bags on a model to show the scale of the bag. You may also be required to occasionally shoot content with professional models in our studio, store or on location which will be great for your personal portfolio.
- **Content**:You will set up bags, shoes and accessories into exciting and engaging layouts using props to be photographed for social media and website content images. You will understand how to pair colour combinations and have a good understanding of seasonality and trends.
- **Website**: You will be checking website content is correct with the right photographs in the right order, and that the descriptions match the condition of the item, making changes in our systems where needed.

Director of Ecommerce

**Requirements**:

- Photography experience essential - even if this is just your personal social media
- A good understanding of technical camera settings
- An understanding of how to best set up lighting for product and model photography
- Ability to retouch is preferred, but not essential
- A passion for luxury fashion
- Good written English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Perfect track record of reliability and being trustworthy in nature
- Exceptional organisation skills with a practical and common sensical mindset
- Ability to self-start and work on your own
- A yes person, who loves people, has a happy nature and enjoys their work
- Someone who can use their initiative and get stuck in

**Employment Type**

Part-time

Starting from £10.50 per hour
