**Salary: £28,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance and Mileage**

**The role of a Data Protection and Safeguarding Coordinator within the company involves**:

- Supporting the Data Request Specialist in providing an efficient service in relation to Information right requests
- Liaising with various departments to collate data in question
- Providing administrative support in response to Data Subject Requests to ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation
- Ensuring all processes and documentations are maintained, protecting integrity and quality of data
- Supporting the day to day operational safeguarding and welfare provision of the company
- Advising, coaching and influencing safeguarding and welfare referrals
- Building and developing contact and working relationships with external agencies and networks

**Requirements for the Data Protection and Safeguarding Coordinator role**:

- Previous experience in safeguarding within an Adult Care setting
- Broad knowledge of the regulatory environment of CQC
- Experience in GDPR and Data privacy
- Ability to respond to SARs and be able carry out audits for privacy and GDPR vulnerabilities
- Proficient IT skills
