**Principal Business Case Assurance Manager**

Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) is responsible for the design, manufacture and support of UK's nuclear weapons and maintaining the UK's nuclear deterrent. Working as **Principal Business Case Assurance Manager**, you will lead the Business Case Assurance team within AWE's Commercial function. The Business Case Assurance Team are a critical element of the investment approval and governance process with responsibilityfor developing, implementing, and managing the end-to-end business case assurance and approvals process within AWE, working closely with the business, programme management office and other enabling functions to help ensure clear, concise and robust businesscases are produced.
- Experience working in or with defence or public sector organisations;
- Proven line management and leadership skills;
- Experienced in delivering Business Case Assurance and / or investment approvals and / or demonstrable experience of Programme and / or Project management;
- Accomplished in establishing assurance processes operationally and their continuous improvement;
- Ability to use own initiative and has strong influencing skills;
- Effective relationship management at all levels;
