We are currently seeking compassionate Children's Learning Disability Support Workers to join our award-winning service located in and around Preston. Our service specialises in providing bespoke care to individuals aged 6 to 19, with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. As a Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in assisting young people through a care pathway, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

- Shifts: 7:30 AM - 4 PM / 4 PM - 10 PM
- Pay: £23,000 per year (Weekly Pay)
- Immediate starts available

The Role:
As a Children's Learning Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
- Observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions.
- Treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
- Assisting residents with their progression through a care pathway to foster greater independence.
- Working as part of a supportive team of multi-professionals.
To be successful as a Children's Learning Disability Support Worker, you'll need:
- A strong desire to create positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities.
- Empathy, caring nature, and resilience.
- At least 6 months of experience in a social care setting.
- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
