**Job Title**:Head of Compliance

**Location**:Nottingham (Hybrid)

**Salary**:£75,000 - £90,000 depending on experience

We are partnering with a leading company based in Nottingham to recruit an experienced and dynamic Head of Compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to lead and shape the compliance function, ensuring the company continues to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities include**:
**Culture and Strategy**:

- Build and nurture a culture of compliance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support and guide the Compliance and Audit Manager, providing expertise and leadership.
- Collaborate with the MD and Operations Director to establish key objectives for the Compliance team.

**Compliance Monitoring**:

- Overhaul and take full responsibility for the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance measures and controls, ensuring continuous improvement.

**Risk Management**:

- Identify and evaluate potential risks to business objectives.
- Implement measures to mitigate or eliminate risks, conducting thorough risk assessments and reporting findings appropriately.

**Policy and Procedure Management**:

- Ensure company policies and procedures are robust and in line with regulatory guidance.
- Continuously review and update policies to maintain a strong compliance framework.

**Management Information (MI) and Reporting**:

- Provide comprehensive compliance MI with analytic analysis to senior management.
- Prepare and present board reports to keep management informed

**Skills and experience**:

- 10+ years of experience in compliance within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UK financial services regulations, particularly high-cost credit.
- Proven experience managing a compliance monitoring plan and leading a compliance team.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and build professional relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk and resolve compliance issues effectively.
