**Workshop Supervisor**

Located in Lancashire, our company specialises in the conversion and hire of commercial vehicles, primarily for the traffic management, civils and blue light market. As a Workshop Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge technology to improve road safety and sustainability. Your role is more than just oversight; it’s about helping to shape the future of transportation infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with staff, carrying out annual reviews and training with new staff.
- Facilitate efficient production through communication, liaison and coordination.
- Maintain a safe place of work by maintaining critical focus on safety and environmental management issues.
- Evaluate progress and identify improvements to inform future projects.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Trade qualifications in the field of fabrication or motor vehicle mechanics.
- Experience in commercial vehicle body building or manufacturing.
- Experience in people management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, workshop manuals and electrical & hydraulic diagrams.
- Current drivers car licence, HGV licence an advantage.
- Be able to identify and act on opportunities to provide coaching mentoring.
