The electronics segment is made up of:

- Assembly (Alpha), Circuitry (MacDermid Enthone), and Semiconductor (Alpha & Compugraphics) businesses.
The Industrial & Specialty segment is made up of:

- Industrial (MacDermid Enthone), Graphics (MacDermid Graphics) and Energy (MacDermid Offshore) businesses.

**Job Purpose**

The Project Engineer is responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements and capital investment to install or replace assets covering the UK Manufacturing sites, working with other members of the project and site operation teamsto develop the equipment scope of supply and implementation of a turn key project.

Job Responsibilities
- Identify and introduce best practice manufacturing methods into production.
- Review work equipment, machine condition reports and maintenance activities to identify improvement actions and eliminate problems.
- Ensure machinery compliance inline with directives and British Standard.
- Work with relevant managers’ coordinators and external suppliers to identify new methods and equipment to improve machine efficiencies.
- Identify capital investment requirement for inclusion in the forward plan.
- Ensure all risk assessments are complete for new work equipment, manual handling operations and process procedures
- Consider manual handling implications within manufacturing working with internal and external sources to continually improve.
- Introduce good practice methods of operation to reduce wastage and improve quality in production areas.
- Manage work orders and priority to keep outstanding work to a minimum.
- Keep pace with changes in technology and available equipment.

**Required Skills**:
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Mechanical Engineering with around 3 - 5 years related experience. Previous experience of project management including the supervision of contractors and knowledge of developing and interpretingAutoCAD 2D and 3D models and drawings.
