To support our organisation, tell the many stories we want to share, we are looking for a Communications Business Partner to lead and manage and small team of communicators.

In this role, you will establish new ways of working and support development of internal and external communications to a range of audiences. The role covers all aspects of communications including internal communications and colleague engagement, stakeholder communications, media relations, event management and campaign development, so we’re looking for an excellent all-rounder.

You’ll be part of an internal peer network driving a new approach to marketing and communications across GC as we develop a new model for all elements of our work.

**About you**:
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor on developing communications plans, campaigns, and finding opportunities to help share our stories with a broad range of stakeholders.

You’ll have excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into compelling content. You’ll have strong experience of working with internal and external stakeholders to enable the planning and delivery of effective communications strategies.

You will also be a great people manager with the ability to support and develop people.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement communication plans using a range of channels and tactics to positively enhance the reputation of GC and build and protect our brand.
- Act as a specialist advisor to, and build effective relationships with, the Senior Leadership Teams within Corporate Services, ensuring key messages are consistently weaved through our activity spanning communications and wider marketing.
- Create impactful, targeted multi-channel campaigns that reflect the diverse needs and communication preferences of our audiences including key stakeholders, clients, customers, and commissioners.
- Actively monitor analytics, customer feedback, insight and sentiment to improve communications outcomes.
- Lead on high profile, service focused stakeholder events and provide additional support for wider event management across the Group.
- Coordinate and contribute to the editorial planning process for our communications, ensuring it is aligned to corporate priorities and synchronised with wider communications activities.
- Contribute and work on change management and service development projects, providing high quality advice to colleagues implementing changes to the way services are delivered and accessed.
- Work with colleagues in Marketing to enhance key service and product activity, ensuring consistent tone of voice, style and brand standards are applied.
- Play an active role in sharing best practice across the Marketing and Communications Department, actively taking part in learning and development to help build a culture of continuous improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £38,000.00 per year
