Hours: 40 hours a week

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of our training team at our Academy at Sparshatt Truck and Van - a dealership group for Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van.

We recognise the vital importance of nurturing the next generation of technicians and offer award-winning apprenticeship training, assessed by the IMI. The Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance and Technical Skills Scheme takes three years to attain and is a mix of attending our in-house college (based in Dartford) and working alongside mentors in our workshops.

We have just been acquired by RCM SAGA, who own 127 car, truck and van dealerships across France, Switzerland, and Belgium and plan to increase their presence in the UK. Join us in driving innovation and excellence in the commercial vehicle sector with Mercedes-Benz products at the forefront.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Level 3 teaching qualification OR a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HGV Technician
- A good technical understanding/previous experience, with the ability to teach in both the workshop and the classroom.
- A genuine interest in helping students succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students and mentors.
- Experience of working with young people in both formal and informal settings
- A commitment to continued professional development and training
- A good understanding of general computer systems
- DBS check clearance
