London, United Kingdom Clarity Global Inc Full time

**About us**

Clarity is a digital marketing and communications agency with the heart of a startup. We are reimagining what a comms agency can deliver and in 2022 added public affairs to our roster of expertise through the acquisition of an experienced public affairs consultancy in London, with plans to expand both in the UK and globally.

We combine the fun and pace of working in a mid-size local firm with the opportunities of a global agency. This role is based in London. We’re a hybrid agency, so manage a mix of home and in-office working to ensure the best experience for our team and our clients.

**The role**

We are looking for an **Account Executive** with between 1-2 years' experience to join our established and quickly growing Public Affairs team.

Day-to-day, this role will require you to be the linchpin of client accounts and the team: monitoring for relevant political and regulatory developments, building relationships and trust with clients, helping manage stakeholder engagement programmes, attending events on behalf of clients, leading on political briefings, supporting a busy events programme, helping with marketing and new business as you look to take on more and more responsibility.

Our big focus areas are tech, telecoms, health and sustainability. Experience and/or a passion in these areas will give you a head start in this role and an opportunity to build your public profile, particularly if you can combine this with a strong interest in party politics.

While focused on public affairs, there is the opportunity to expand your skillset across PR, crisis communications and corporate comms, and to shape and grow a truly integrated PA and comms team at a fast-moving, global and, most of all, exciting agency.

**Experience and Skills**

You will ideally have:

- Between 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant political environment, such as consultancy, an in-house role, a thinktank or Parliament
- Active participation/interest in party politics
- Knowledge of UK Parliament & devolved administrations, politics, procedure and policy
- An interest in the policy landscape surrounding tech, health and/or sustainability
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent work ethic with a proactive can-do attitude
- An entrepreneurial spirit

**Working for us**

We combine the fun and pace of working in a mid-size local firm with the opportunities of a global agency. We take risks, learn, adapt and deliver, giving you full scope to achieve your unique potential in a supportive and exciting environment.

**Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary and some great benefits including healthcare, phone allowance, an incredible flexible remote work policy, unlimited paid time off (and we mean it) paid time off for volunteering, summer Fridays, generous paid family leave policies and much more.
