Assisting with the administration and control on the construction of large projects, identifying opportunities for new stores or managing the existing store estate. Whatever the task, you'll put your all into it.
We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. It means our property teams are always kept on their toes.
Working within the Store Development team, the role will report into the Project Manager and will efficiently support National and International projects focused on internal store design. In supporting these projects, you will play a key part in driving innovation and change across the ALDI estate. This varied role will give you the opportunity to drive innovation in order to change the way Aldi customers shop in our brick and mortar stores.
**Your New Role**
- Support the Project Manager and Project Team with varied tasks to ensure project are delivered on time
- Provide organisational and administrative support to the Project Manager
- Undertake project work as required
- Prepare statistical information and conduct relevant analysis
- Manage efficient and accurate flow of communication both internally and externally stakeholders
- Create and collate presentations / documentation
- Train other team members where appropriate
- Actively manage area of responsibility through driving innovation and change
- Ensure National and International deadlines are met
- Check invoices and expenses in the area of responsibility following Company procedures
- Maintain an efficient and well-organised filing system for area of responsibility
- Archive documentation in the area of responsibility properly and arrange its disposal at the end of the archive period
**About You**
- A professional approach with a high level of discretion and integrity
- Exceptional levels of organisation and time management
- Proactive / reactive ability, able to prioritise a high volume of tasks
- Positivity, drive and self-sufficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Understanding of project processes e.g. project management frameworks
- A willingness to take responsibility, a flexible and pragmatic approach, and a clear desire to succeed
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, able to communicate clearly and confidently to have a positive influence on others
- Calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and document accuracy
- Able to priorities multiple work streams and meet key deadlines
- Data Management & analytics
**What You’ll get in Return**
- Salary starting £34,690 rising to £42,333 (Pro-rata)
- 3 to 4 days per week - Monday to Friday (there is flexibility on which days) 8:00 am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity for remote working which is determined on days worked
