We are recruiting a part time Support Worker to support one gentleman in his 30's in the Watford area. This gentleman needs support that is person centred, you will be changing the style of support from 'caring for' to 'working with', it promotes independence and supports people to take an active part in their own lives,
This gentleman is very active and enjoys activities such as model railway clubs, visiting the railway museum, going to theme parks, visiting different zoos across the UK and watching TV shows live
Part of your role will be to support with home cooked meals and to expand his palate. You would support with chopping up meals due to the person we support motor skills. He will also require assistance to visit medical appointments, maintain personal and intimate care, arrange prescriptions, and administering medication.

**Shift patterns**:
Shift patterns are divided into two; 10am - 9pm four days a week for the big days out. The other three days are 10am - 2pm or 6pm - 10pm. Alternative weekends and bank holidays are included in the working pattern.
