SF are working exclusively with a market leading and state of the art software business in Birmingham who are looking to grow their Accounts team, in particular their Credit and AR Division. This is a high performing and hard working AR team of 20 heads.You will support the billing, credit and wider finance function in this role. Within a team of 3 Cashiers.
Our client operates a hybrid working model, 3 days in and 2 days working from home. They also offer a wide range of competitive benefits
**What You Will Do**:

- Allocate cash receipts across various systems
- Process cheques
- Produce daily cash reports
- Process card payments
- Dealing with allocation queries and transfers
- Minimize unallocated cash
- Process direct debits
- Support the closing of month end
- Produce ad-hoc reports
- Review bank rec provided by the accounting team
**What you'll need**:

- Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Flexible & Proactive with and eagerness to learn
- Team player
