Role Description:
As the Social Media Lead Volunteer for Bridge the Gap Ending Digital Poverty C.I.C, your role is integral to our mission of digital inclusion. You will spearhead the organisation's social media efforts, with a primary focus on community engagement, event coverage, and working closely with the Social Media Manager and Communication Team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the Social Media team to develop and

execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with community engagement,

workshops, and events.
- Event and Workshop Coverage: Attend and capture digital skills workshops, community

events, and outreach activities, creating engaging and informative content for social

media.
- Live Coverage: When applicable, conduct live streams or live updates during events,

workshops, and community interactions.
- Content Creation: Produce compelling content, including posts, photos, videos, and

stories, that highlight the impact of our work and engage our online community.
- Community Interaction: Actively engage with our online community, responding to

comments, messages, and fostering meaningful connections.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Communication Team to align social media efforts

with overall messaging and outreach strategies.
- Volunteer Support: Assist in the onboarding and guidance of social media volunteers,

helping them capture content effectively and aligning their efforts with our goals.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance during events and

campaigns, using data to adjust strategies and improve future coverage.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in social media platforms, tools, and trends. Including
- Tik tok, instagram,

facebook, youtube, or Linkedin
- Strong communication and content creation skills, with an eye for storytelling.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced event environments and cover multiple activities

simultaneously.
- Passion for digital inclusion and addressing digital poverty.

Time Commitment: This role may require varying hours, with a focus on covering events and workshops as they occur. Regular monitoring and content creation may also be necessary.
