**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team. Your role will be crucial in achieving our ambitious goals and maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Efficiently and effectively operate CNC machines and edgebanding machines, including automatic, semi-automatic, and manual curved edgebanders.
- Utilize a range of power tools, hand tools, and workshop-based machinery, showcasing proven experience in joinery.
- Construct and assemble cabinets based on blueprints or design specifications.
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
- Work with materials such as timbers, MDF, laminates, and veneers to manufacture various shopfitting items, including cabinets, doors, windows, bars, and counters.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a joinery workshop environment.
- Ability to measure materials with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong focus on health and safety within the workshop.
- Reliable with excellent time-keeping skills.
- Conscientious, polite, and personable.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Previous experience working with nesting CNC machines is advantageous.
- Keen eye for detail and a drive for producing high-quality work.
- Ability to adapt working practices based on feedback.
- Resourceful and innovative, seeking continuous improvement in working processes.
- Ability to follow written instructions, such as cutting lists.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and design plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

**Salary and Benefits**:
- Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.
