Extrusion Operator

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading plastic manufacturing company in **Poole**, for a **setter/operator** to run the **Extrusion area production lines producing polypropylene sheet.** Working set shift patterns is a requirement of the role and will **include night work.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate extrusion lines including vents, vacuum pumps, screen packs, dies, casting rolls and lamination equipment
- Ensure that product is manufactured within specification
- Clean granulators, lines, towers, loaders and blenders between colour/formulation changes
- Change material rolls, Set blenders correctly to recipes & BOM.
- Fulfil other ad hoc duties as directed by the Shift Leader or other Managers
- Previous experience in a similar role highly advantageous
- Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Happy to work set shift patterns including night shifts

**Working hours**:
Shift patterns are:
Rotating shift patterns, Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

**Pay Rate**:
£11.98ph rising to £13.15ph after April 1st 2024

- Ongoing Assignment
