**The role**

Reporting to the Extrusion Manager, you will be required to actively participate within the Extrusion department to ensure the business achieves agreed production objectives and targets, whilst complying with Company standards and ensuring correct records are maintained for traceability purposes.

Day to day activities will include;
- Production start-up and monitoring of extruder equipment to achieve output targets whilst meeting quality standards producing sheet to the agreed specification
- Remove sheet specimens according to Company guidelines
- Check, measure, record and evaluate sheet parameters
- Participate in the dismantling and cleaning of equipment; remove scrap and/or unused materials
- Grinding of scrap
- Allocate sheet to the appropriate rack system
- Participate in stock taking
- Carry out general housekeeping activities within the work area.

**Your profile**
- The ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work with minimum supervision
- Awareness of current Health and Safety practices
- Reach and counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licences are desirable

**Hours of Work**

Hours of work will be an average of 40 hrs a week, to be worked, Monday - Friday. On occasion you may need to work additional hours to adapt to business needs.
