**Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 (30-minute lunch break)**

**Friday 08:00 to 15:30 (30-minute lunch break)**

**Core Purpose**

To carry out the necessary administration of the school’s first aid needs. To provide administrative support as required and to carry out administrative tasks with a high standard of efficiency and courtesy, working flexibly with other administrative staff. To provide admin support as and when required.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- To administer the school’s first aid to both pupils and staff
- maintain appropriate pupil records on SIMS database
- maintain records of all accidents/incidents for both pupil and staff
- contact parents
- make appropriate arrangements for staff and student inoculations
- maintain stocks of first aid equipment including the issue of first aid boxes to staff on education visits and field trips
- Safe storage and labelling of all student medication.
- To provide flexible support to provide cover to the Administration Department as required
- Purchase of student support toiletries
- Responsibility for booking staff first aid courses and maintaining a record of individuals’ first aid training on SIMS
- Maintaining student Care Plans, circulating to the appropriate staff, meeting with parents to develop these
- Answering incoming telephone calls to the school: receiving and directing calls courteously and efficiently in conjunction with other members of the Administrative Team
- Reception cover as required including truancy call
- Complete referrals to external agencies, link to school nursing team and link to medical needs team
- Ensure smooth transition for students with medical needs coming into Y7
- Support students with mental health needs
- Administer external vaccinations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 37 per week

**Salary**: £17,745.00-£18,066.00 per year
