The role

The Logistic's Assistant will support the Warehouse and Logistics team in all aspects of the team's duties to meet the business need. You will report to Logistics Supervisor and work closely with Logistics Coordinators, Storeman and Project Teams

Typical tasks include but are not limited to: Input customers import and export entries data onto the HMRC documentation using the companies electronic filing system. Data input for shipping and freight invoices. Audit and review the information on the import and export entries data as part of the compliance checks

You will assist with the company deferment account coordination. Review and amend the commodity code register as well as assist in the stock checks on the company inventory.

Raise requisitions for shipping costs and invoices and liaise with accounts and purchasing departments on invoice queries.

- Strong Administration skills; good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Packages
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner whilst maintaining influence over day-to-day deliverables
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to manage own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines
