CGM Operations are looking to hire an organised, enthusiastic Senior Binder Underwriting Assistant, who has experience in the London Market in a similar role. This could be well suited to return to work mums, a technical processor or Senior Ops Technician who is looking for a change.

You will support the Property Binder underwriting team in delivering a high-quality client service by taking ownership of the operational functions of the team allowing them to focus on production and underwriting.

You will ensure Cover holder reviews/ sign off, premium bookings and post-bind activities are completed. As well as, ensuring consistent accurate completion of work across CGM by adopting the right
- first time principle.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager, however through Chubb’s matrix reporting structure will also have a dotted line to other parts of the underwriting community on a day-to-day basis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To provide administrative support to the business in relation to the management of both new and existing Binders across the Property binder portfolio.
- Build good working relationships with underwriting teams and ensure that underwriting management are regularly communicated with and kept updated on appropriate issues.
- To ensure all new/ renewal binders are booked accurately in the system, obtaining an 90% quality score.
- To ensure coverholder sign off process is adhered to and signed off prior inception.
- To work closely with DUAM, Claims, finance and credit control to ensure requests are actioned within a timely fashion.
- To ensure all documentation is saved on file following the correct taxonomy.
- Support the Binder Support team with quarterly EPI preparation and adjustments in our underwriting system across multi-lines, adhering to the SOX control.
- To provide general assistance to underwriters with all administrative duties as agreed with the Operations Manager.
- To assist the binder support team by providing cover and learning the various other processes within the team.
- To work in conjunction with Operations and underwriting teams to ensure efficient working practices are in place e.g., identifying process improvements, providing feedback to reduce rework or errors and escalate any blockages to the Operations Manager where necessary.
- To work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards.
- Any other ad hoc duties allocated by the Operations Manager.

**About you**
- Minimum A level standard or equivalent with strong GCSE in Maths (or equivalent)
- Organised and self-motivated
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Accurate record keeping
- Enthusiastic and approachable
- Competent in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, word
- Experience in a similar role/ or equivalent i.e., Ops Technician, Processor
- 5+ Years Lloyds market Insurance experience with a strong understanding of a Slip
- Knowledge of Binders/ DA preferred but not essential
